It all started when I was just a child. Our family gatherings and holidays were really special. It was always nice to see all of my cousins, aunties, and uncles. We had some good times.
However, the best times were watching my grandmother and mother cook. I always got a thrill out of doing that. Besides tasting and eating all the good food, of course, watching them cook was the next best highlight of our family gatherings for me!
Honestly to this day, I still say my grandmother's sister who was my great-Auntie, introduced the only monkey bread I had ever heard of. She would make it every holiday and it was years before a similar recipe started showing up in grocery stores.
It really makes me wonder where they really got the idea and recipe from. I believe hers was the original and to this day, the best version. There are a lot of different kinds now but they all seem to missing her signature ingredient.
So, in 2019, I publicly introduced my cooking passion. I combined that passion with other creative ideas and managed to create special recipes blended with new seasonings & uncommon ingredients on soul food favorites, new recipes, and specialty dishes that to this day, nobody has been able to match, and are gaining in popularity.
Since going public, business has increased from just take out meals, to social events that are quickly impacting the growth of my catering success which has been made possible from customers like my family, friends, acquaintances, and followers, all of whom I am very grateful for.
